Please do not allow camping on our public spaces.

City children already have limited spaces where they can be safe and move around. Please don't take a step backward in the parks. Of all places, these should be a place we step up efforts to keep clean and safe.

Stop encampments everywhere in Seattle. The amount of homelessness in Seattle is unreal!

I live on lower Phinney ridge near 3rd Ave. the past few years the place no longer feels safe or pleasant. A walk to Ballard is full of debris, needles, garbage and human feces (entire black water tank emptied on street near Fred Meyers) this is unacceptable, and don't say it's compassion. Do your jobs, which means having a safe clean city for all of us.

This bill is passing the responsibility of solving the problem of homelessness by the City to the citizenry. This is not a solution. Why not let the homeless people camp in the areas where the "majority of city councilors voting for this bill" reside?

This is my city too! If you can't afford to live here- move out.

Not right to allow homeless in parks without rules and responsibilities spelled out. Those that do get the right to use the parks must strive to get themselves back to providing to the society it has a responsibility to support.

I will not vote for any city council member who votes for this.

City Parks aren't for camping. Please address the homeless problem responsibility.

I think we must address the need for safe places for the homeless to stay including the possibility of camping but the plan must be better thought out than this seems to be.

This bill will exacerbate problems in our city and does not provide a sustainable model to address homelessness.

No one should be homeless. Everyone has plenty of shelters, places to get employment and help. It's an excuse not to get help and get some kind of work. It doesn't give them the right to squat in a public place people go.

Seattle has always been irresponsible in its well meaning but misguided efforts to curb homelessness. This bill would incentivize the creation of new health and safety risks while making it easier to isolate those members of the community for whom homelessness is a symptom of drug addiction and psychosis.

Keep the homeless out of our neighborhood parks.
