Stop school teachers who openly praise Hamas terror

At Melbourne High School i remember great teachers , eg Mr Psyche Ganella , Mr Hobson . Never before heard of Prahran High School !!

The Palestinians call for the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews. So many lies are being told by the free Palestine people. We need compulsory education teaching the facts about the middle east and anti Semitism. There is no genocide by Israel. Gaza has one of the biggest population growths in the world.

Teaching that a terrorist organisation that wants to destroy a country, Israel and all its inhabitants and kill all Jews has a right is not part of what we teach our children in schools. We don’t teach hatred and killing.

As a teacher and a mental health worker I call for immediate action on teachers spreading hate, division and one sided history amongst vulnerable children, who should be learning the language and need for peace from an empathic understanding of history of all peoples, including not limited to the Jewish people and the Palestinian people. Jewish people in all schools are at risk from hate speech coming from teachers! This has to be a strong and clear no from the highest levels.

Schools should teach children about History and other subjects. It is not the place for teachers to praise a terrorist group. They should remain neutral and be inclusive for all children.

As a father to 3 children in school I’m angry and ashamed I don’t want those teachers near my kids Wake up Australia Enough is enough

I as a Jewish person. And as a mother and grandmother. Also a member of the Labor party. Feel frightened for the future educators. We need to make sure our children are safe and will not be scared to go to school because their teachers may harm them. Can you assure this will not happen

Teachers' job is to eductae and to make sure that students know how to read, to count, to think critically and to evaluate. Teachers are NOT political activists, and if they behave like one, they should be sacked.

Teachers are supposed to teach facts, not fiction. Better education of teachers in the history of what they spout is highly recommended.

Children should not be influenced or radicalised. They should be taught correct facts & not distorted information to run the risk to radicalised young minds
