I would like to have a better understanding of the data behind the studies the district has used to base their decision regarding the the switch in grading systems.

I don’t like the accusatory language in this petition, but I agree that MSD should stick with standardized grading. If accommodations need to be made for a few students, focus on that. Do not get rid of a system that works for most students and educators.

I 100% agree with this petition. I currently have children in the 281 and this is insanity. There is no transparency, our requests for information and communication go unanswered. Our children are not just numbers and certainly not experiments. They deserve the best and this mastery based system is not anywhere near. It needs to be rescinded. Please sign and share!

I agree that building on a base is important but I believe teachers were already doing that if they are a good teacher. For those who aren’t, additional education should be provided to make sure they do. We don’t need a radical change just need to follow good educational practices.

Graduated in 2015, this shouldn’t have even been a consideration. The education that is/has been provided is more than sufficient and to risk experimentation being a failure is a slap in the face to every student, alumni, and parent that trusted the school district to give them its very best.

I agree with this petition. If I would have known Moscow School district before sending my children there I would have home schooled my children. Moscow School district needs to be held accountable children are not an experiment.
