Paid these bastards damn near $9k over the past 3 years, was rarely late and always paid it through the damn $10.95 money wire transfer. I come to find out that they say I've not touched but only so much of my original loan and that a majority of my payments went to interest??? What a bunch of crooks! CROOKS! I've contact an attorney, my state's Attorney General, my state Senator & Congressman, and I'm this close to contacting the regional news outlet & ask for all of our stories to be told against these evil foreign bastards (the company is from Spain). Honestly, what we need to do besides contacting all these people is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT! STOP SANTANDER NOW!

I am sad to join the list of consumer being taken for a ride by Santander usa. i made the unfortunate to have the dealer select the loan when i have generally gone to my credit union. i finally wrote a pay off per santander to send in a check; (they will not let me pay by web as they claim it is final balance) i tracked the payment to santander office in Dallas, TX. Yet it has now been 3 weeks and they have yet to post the payment asking me to send them proof that they have it. I believe hat they are trying to get as much from me by holding on to check.

Told us we could not pay early and could not pay on the principal through extra payments - it was "against the law." every payment is posted incorrectly and it takes a week or more to get it corrected. In the meantime, they collect interest they are not entitled to receive.

The worst experiences I have ever had in nearly 20 years of business and over 20 years of personnal bank accounts !!! This organization should be stayed away from at all costs. After all the money I moved through this bank, I have been reduced to something they can try to extract interest and fees from. The true HORROR STORY of what this istitution did to me is to hard to tell and requires me hiring an attorney at the least.

I've never been late in the 3 yrs I've been with them I made a agreement with them to pay 300 then pay 245three days later so my payment was really 3days late each time they charge 10.95 extra I called them after payment posted to reset auto pay which I was told by lady on phone needed managers approval which was fine .only when payment was due they didn't take automaticaly from my account so I called and asked what the f... And they told me I as 2days late again that they never can restart auto pay by phone that I had to do it online in which I replied then what was getting the managers approval about the last time I called.in which they told me they couldn't have done in all in all I had to pay another late fee of 10.95 again and was told again to re register online again .i am fed up with this company I only had this one late payment which I arranged with them prior .and all they want to do is lie to you and add late fees I've read a lot of negative things about santander after the fact I was trapped by them they are bad business with con man tactics

i too have been wronged by santander consumer usa. i currently have an auto loan through them. every month since ive had my loan, they take an amount of their choice out of my auto loan payment and apply it to the principal IF IM LUCKY and the rest to the principal. my car is currently in a negative equity amount of over $8000, and the value of the car is only about $7500. santander has mislead me multiple times and have given me the run around more times than i can count. very disappointing.

This company added 6 extra payments on to the end of my loan they purchased from my original lender. They told me it was late fees. It added up to be over $1800.00 worth of fees. I have been given the run around by these people and they keep telling me they will mail me a copy of the charges. I have yet to receive anything in the mail. This is illegal! I never signed a contract with this company and my original lender's late fee's would not equal this if I paid every month late! I made 99% of my payments on time! This company is a scam!

Keep telling me that I still have a balance on my mortgage and every time I pay the balance off, a new balance "magically" appears. Then, of course, they charge a late fee for the "remaining balance" that magically appeared. I will never get ahead with my payments and now my credit is shot after 20 years of a great credit history.

We need some help with my loan we already in our last payment 72 but they referal 2 payments well first we had citi financial and then santander bought the loan now they say that we owe 5 more payments and the money for the principal ,someone pls help for mr thats a ripoff,we just finish paying my truck that we were payng also to wells fargo and no problems .
