It's not just the elderly that prefer local branches. I have worked in customer service for 29 years and still prefer to do my banking face to face and not online

very concerned that RBS did not consult with public befire putting in planning permission for this, no way would thi be beneficial to business and domestic customers, they need to keep this in town, not away from the town!

If elderly and infirm manage to get to the bank, how do they cross that road to get back home or to town? Nearest crossing is way over at TSC and EE!

RBS no longer for Scotland, or anywhere else, but themselves. Have sent me reminders for a redundant bank card. Give RBS a redundancy notice.

How is this the Royal Bank FOR Scotland? When I compained about the Gourock branch closing, I was told the area was well serviced as they counted Helensburgh in the catchment area! I have had money go missing a few times now, I can't trust them to look after my money, deal with the issues properly or even care. Shareholders take priority and customers get taken advantage of.

keep the bank in the town so it is easy to access. Forget internet banking I do not trust it.

I urge RBS to change this terrible decision, without consultation with its customers, to close its last town centre branch in Inverclyde. Their plans to recite their one branch in the less accessible Mortgage Centre will disadvantage many of its customers but even more so those who are older, disabled or live in poverty.

Apart from the inconvenience to many people of age and disability, businesses need somewhere to deposit cash without having to travel miles to do it.

RBS should rethink this closure and give more consideration to their customers and the people in this community who rely on this branch

Shocking decision. Takes no account of the elderly, non drivers or anyone with a disability. Always a queue when you visit Cathcart St branch so they cannot say that it isn’t used.

As a customer of rbs I’m concerned that there would be no rbs branch within local area

We need a central location bank

Absurd decision. Cost cutting at its worst. Get our mp and msps on board I have been a customer for 43 years. Bank is a shadow of its former self. This would be the last straw for me.
