It would be great if our child could go to the elementary school actually promised by builder. It's nearby and convenient, and sure will be a good school

We closed on hour house Jan 31, 2016. When we originally signed for the house in June of 2015 we were told by the Meritage homes that Fort settlement middle school was in our line up. Now it's not so, I have 3 kids that are in settlers way elementary because of the the line up I was told. Now I am worried.

The reason we had moved to this Riverstone community is to be able to provide high quality education/future for our kids. One of the key drivers for our decision to move was the fact that Creekstone is zoned to Fort Settlement MS. We paid a premium to purchase the property in this sub-community to work towards our goals. However, with this recent re-zoning, it feels like we have been cheated. It is an utter disappointment for our family. I cannot even start to think about the residual effects of such a decision. This is not fair for parents who are working hard to make ends meet to ensure that their kids can get the best education around. I am completely against this decision and will protest this till the day such a decision is moved off the table.
Stop feeder pattern of FBISD. People are spending so much on this Riverstone just because of schools ...this will really really bad for our children and also for Riverstone.

The Riverstone community should continue to be zoned to Fort Settlement Middle School. FSMS is the closest middle school to Riverstone and is also directly connected to Riverstone with sidewalks and walking paths.

Based on the daily commute and the safety, Elkins Alternate pattern would be better for the kids. please consider Elkins alternate option.

Creekstone village and brook side communities in riverstone should be added to the pattern that will allow our children to attend riverstone elementary school and will feed to fort settlement MS. Excluding these communities is divisive and discriminatory!!!! Our children should be given the same opportunities as other children in Riverstone. Furthermore new houses currently being marketed and recent houses that have been sold within these communities have been given the impression that they will be zoned to riverstone elementary. People like myself who bought their houses under this impression would have been deceived. Not including these communities in the zoning will not only affect the property values in these communities but in the riverstone community as a whole

We would like to be zoned to common wealth elementary, fort settlement & Clements preferably with alternative as Elkins since Avalon zoning has always remained with these three school zones. New residents from At Avalon @ Riverstone are closest to these schools.

Elkin Alternate plan is the best and only option.
