Stop Rich Street Violence and ASB!

I can hear the cars engines almost every night and screaming people, it's horrible I can't sleep

The car racing up and down the cul-de-sac has got out on control. It is only a matter of time before a parked car is smashed into or, worse, a pedestrian, cyclist or motorcyclist is struck. Repeated reports to Limehouse Police have done literally zero to curb the issue.

The car park in front of Compass Point regularly has youths parked outside smoking and playing music loudly. When I last approached them they threw items at me and at my apartment window.

The behaviour infront of Roche House is outrageous including fighting, drug abuse, alcohol drinking, revving of cars etc. The smoking of cigarettes and cannabis would sometimes come through our windows where my baby sleeps at night. Getting hold of the police to help is near impossible. Speeding down Rich Street causing a lot of noise. I have also witnessed many times in broad daylight the changing of numbers plates on cars and smoking of cannabis in the open. It's very unpleasant to step out of the building onto broken glass and rubbish left by the people who causes these problems. More needs to be done by the police or Council.

Terrifying behaviour and impossible to rest at home!

I was surprised by the ignorance of Lime house Police staff who is located few minutes walking from Rich street.

I hope that this is more effective than every other action taken so far has been. These guys are also using the indented car park entrance within West Point although only a few Compass Point flats situated on rich street can see them.

this needs to stop

I haven't slept for 5 consecutive nights because all the above described ASB (this has been on for 2 consecutive months since we moved in May this year). It is absolutely intolerable to live here due to noise levels and very unsafe. We were offered drugs several times and approached/shouted across every evening. We are two young professional girls living in a flat, working and being law compliant, however the way we are left to feel in our "home", a place where people go to relax is just unacceptable. Something needs to be done immediately.

absolutely agree with this petition! To whoever created it and send in paper version in post boxes: it would be really great to add a QR code to a paper version so you don't need to retype the whole URL link.

This cant go on like this any longer. I am feeling really disturbed, like this area actually but consider to move away if this doesnt stop.

Addition to all this - they have now got themselves a moped which is "trialed' out by the "group members" at night time. Also, with the hot weather, double glazing your windows is really not helping if one would like to keep windows open for fresh air. There is no win-win situation here, other than Council and Police working together to solve the issue.

I have lived in the area for over 9 years and this has always been a problem. I called police on numerous occasions and even emailed with photographic evidence but never even heard back. I am glad to see this is not just my opinion and other residents are just as frustrated and fear walking down Rich street when those groups of men are hanging out in the area. This needs to stop ASAP before a tragedy happens! Many thanks to the organisers of this petition.
