I oppose removing prescription drug benefits for any MD employee

Taking away prescription benefits promised to new hires when they need it most is unethical.

The state is violating a contract made with employees many years ago. This is unacceptable

This an outrageous breach of a promise that was made to all employees.

I am shocked that this decision has been made. I was hired in 1970 and for almost five decades I served as a professor at the University in College Park. I think the state should be embarrassed by this action.

State employees deserve to be taken care of in their twilight years after putting in a lifetime of service.

Coverage of medication was a benefit that was promised to MD state employees even after retirement. This is a breach of trust and is not acceptable.

It is completely unfair to those who were hired before July 2011 and at the time promised with this benefit.
