The new home can easily be built without destroying these protected trees. Two are on the property's front perimeter and the 3rd is in the back of the planned house.

It would be a shame to chop down beautiful trees that have been there over 50 years so that a builder who only cares about their bottom line and not the beauty of a neighborhood chops these magnificent trees down.
Let’s think long term about Los Angeles neighborhoods instead of doing what may seem a simple solution to a builder. In the long run it will take away from a neighborhood, environmentally and aesthetically

THESE TREES ARE A BEAUTIFUL LANDMARK IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. IT WOULD BE SHAMEFUL TO TEAR THEM DOWN TO MAKE WAY FOR ANOTHER OVERSIZED, OUT OF SCALE HOME BEING BUILT ON THIS STREET.
