Hello,

I am Trace from Harmony Grove High school in Benton, Arkansas and recently I have become a victim of education oppression. Last year for science I took a biology class and a geometry class. Geometry was a pain and I passed by the skin of my teeth, but biology I passed with a B. I understand why I would have to remediate for geometry but can it not be optional? Because I have been told that if I don't finish my remediation I will have to take Geometry all over again my senior year. That's not fun because I've already taken twice, I am being tortured by education to just do math. I am being forced. I am not good at math and the education system needs to understand that. Back to biology. So my sophomore year I had to take something called the ACT Aspire. IT WAS A PAIN. The whole science section was literally math and not even Biology. So I made a bad grade and now I am forced to have double remediation for math. Standardized testing isn't even reliable either. It robs children and teens of the productive things they could be doing. Schools don't teach any life skills anymore, they only teach you how to take tests. If you're tired of education oppression please give this petition a signature.
