Let the school remain where it is. The County government in conjunction with the Ministry of education should allocate adequate fund to modernize the institution for it to meet therequired international standard. My main reason to oppose it's relocation is simple; The centrality of it's location makes it accessible to students from four corners of the city and hence by relocating outside the city will definitely deny brainy students quality education especially those from humble homes who may not afford boarding facilities.

The legacy of the great Indian Government School, aka Kisumu Boys High School must be preserved at all costs irregardless of any development agendas within the town. I thus strongly disagree with its relocation and support the rescinding of this very unfortunate and unreasonable act.

The school should be left where it is. Instead the government need to put in more money to improve the infrastructure of the school. Converting the school into 100% boarding is also not acceptable.
