This school needs to stay where it is. And should revert to day school to offer education to bright but needy students from the slums of Kisumu.
Nevertheless, the county government can go ahead and purchase land for the new school - "Kisumu school", and assist it build boarding facilities (or assist it acquire necessary infrastructure to the level of a national school)
The town needs to expand going towards the reserve/rural area, and not within town.
2. No school in the entire country, and most parts of the world, has been relocated "to pave way for expansion"!
It's not wrong to have a town within a town!
If Kisumu town is congested, let's create another town in Ahero or Maseno.

Kisumu Boys' High School can only maintain it's attractiveness and productivity when after it's current location is maintained and the school itself renovated to meet international standards. Another feature that makes the school attractive to many parents and students other than the good performance is it's old structures. I refuse to give a thumbs up to the relocation which ideally is not a hindrance to the expansion of our also great city.
