Halal is a barbaric practice & needs to be banned. It is proven that Halal products are linked to funding terrorism. Blood is on the schools hands if they support such a disgusting slaughter

Halal is barbaric and in a county that prides it self on loving animals and animal rights this should be no where near our schools

Preferential treatment to minorities is wrong, option must be given to majority Christian children. Halal is barbaric and has no place in 1st world countries

Serving halal slaughtered meat to anyone without prior notification is completely unacceptable in the UK. To fail to advise parents of this practice is nothing short of deception.

Unstunned slaughter inflicts significant pain on animals. People have a right to reject meat that has been blessed in the name of a god alien to them and to cruelty carried out in its name. RSPCA, BVA, HSS, FAWC etc all call for a ban on non stunned slaughter. It is not necessary or acceptable.

This isn't just about how the animal is slaughtered, but more to do with the fact that the animal is sacrificed TO Allah...a practise inconsistent with Christian values. Christianity does not slaughter animals to Jehovah God.
