If halal is supplied for religious reasons then non halal should also be an option, it states in the Bible "nothing slaughtered to a false god should be consumed.. Semi stun is also barbaric

The option of halal or non-halal, should be available. Also parents and pupils should be made aware of current option being offered.

Disgusting. Have all the parents and children been made aware of how the animals are killed in order to end up on the plates of the school children? If not then they should be informed.

I think it's wrong that the parents were not consulted on this. How about the rights of the children who don't want to eat halal meat, their rights and thoughts have been ignored as usual. I don't eat meat but my family do but I would never but halal products it's totally barbaric no thoughts for those poor animals and their suffering.

Halal meat should be banned not only in this school .but in Britain .Its barbaric.I would sue to the school if one of my children was in that school .shame on you
