Rincon, Ga city counsel is voting to re-zone two adjacent properties from R4/GC to R8 ( multi-family attached units). BKB properties are planning to build 15 units on these two properties. The building of those structures will be a detriment to this area for many reasons - increased traffic, crime, pollution, and harm existing wildlife. Please sign this if you are against this re-zoning. Voting will occur 9/26 at 7:00 (at Rincon police department).

The city council needs to hear from us directly before they vote on this re-zoning plan. Email your council representative today and tell them that Magnolia Drive cannot handle fifteen new units. Post this link on your Facebook page so our neighbors know what is at stake.

I live on Goshen Rd. and my children live on Hodgeville. What should be a 4 minute drive takes about ten and risking your life trying to turn left onto Hodgeville! Not to mention the damage these trucks are doing to the roads that us taxpayers, who are against this destructive growth, are going to have to pay to have repaired! Stop this madness!
We do not need additional apartment complexes in Rincon . Our roads are deplorable as it is. Repairs are not being taken seriously . Our community has been pushed beyond the ability to take care of the growth we have already seen . When a county does not have funds to take care of its infrastructure, we cannot keep adding to the burden that currently exits.
We are becoming an industrial county and loosing the small town family focus. We need boundaries and keep some space for wildlife. Trees provide oxygen and block some humidity. The more we open up the hotter it will be. The more homes cramped into spaces the more crime, accidents will occur.
This will not only affect Weisenbaker but the traffic that is already an issue in crossing onto Highway 21 / Columbia Ave. Our community is safe as we speak, no need to raise concern of increased crime or equally important as our property value.

I live off of Weisenbaker. We cannot get out now onto 21. There are too many people here and you keep jamming more in this county. It's irresponsible, your ineptness in city planning is legendary. We do not want any more houses or warehouses here. Quit lining your pockets and consider the fact that your infrastructure sucks, your water shed sucks because you keep tearing down all the trees (and now you are going to charge homeowners -not commercial owners- for the fact you have screwed up the balance) and now you want even more development? Give it a rest. Fix the problems you created before you make more problems.
