These are some examples of the fresh headlines of Bangladeshi news portals. Some of these sexual assaults and rapes are so disgusting that I feel ashamed as a human being to mention them here.

The state has failed to ensure safety and justice for the people of Bangladeshi. The women and children no more feel secured to come out of their homes. Even they are not secured in their own houses. But how long will we tolerate?

Rapists get arrested by police, but then? Years of judicial process and in the end, only 0.1% rapists get punished. What's the punishment? Getting jailed for a few years. Then the rapists stay some time in the jail, get out and again commit sexual offense.

Now the streets of Bangladesh are being rocked by protests of people of all walks. We will not go to home till the government addresses the rape problem and "Short Trial and Capital Punishment" of rapists isn't ensured.

This isn't the Bangladesh, for which our freedom fighters fought in 1971. We have won the war in 1971, we won the revolution of 2018 on the streets and today we will win the war against rapists ensuring a safe country for our women and children.
