It is time to bring in much needed tax paying industry, such a restaurants, supermarkets etc. The residents, especially the adult communities, should not have to supplement overcrowded schools, due to home building with industry

I share this effort and agree 110% with it. The root cause of the problem was the Master Plan developed under Mayor Pucci, and, the committee which implemented it was chaired by our current Mayor, Mr. Tamburo.

My taxes have increased $7000 since moving here in 2008. Unacceptable!

What happened to the master plan not allowing the building of so many homes that put such a burden on our school enrollment. The 'Taj Mahal' of high schools cannot hold the numbers of children that will need to attend . Total inappropriate of planning.

My wife and I live on a fixed income and cannot afford tax increases, Please stop the home building. Allow stores that pay taxes.

Unfortunately as soon as my husband retires we are moving. Sadly we can't afford the tax. It seems like they think it's ok to put their hand in our pockets everytime they need money instead of cutting the excesses; and it a lot. The senior center is a waste of money. I understand they need somewhere to meet with their friends, but it didn't have to be so grand

I love monroe but the overcrowding of schools and the extreme rise in taxes, home prices make it difficult to stay here. We want a better solution for the working middle class families before there is no choice but to move out of this state.

My family has been here for 100 + years and our property taxes have risen more in the last 4 yrs than any other time. It's getting harder to live in Monroe and NJ.

Please stop the building! Part of the allure of Monroe was the fact that it wasn't densely populated abs the good education. At this rate, our schools won't be equipped to handle the spike in kids and the education suffers. Plus the teachers are under paid.

My taxes DOUBLED over night and still in 2017 my escrow is negative because of the "assessment" that was conducted. I was penalized because someone back in the 70s or 80s did work that I had no clue about and got hammered for in taxes. During a divorce, I refinanced to make my payments lower as a single father with custody. Within a few months after saving money monthly, the mortgage payment then jumped almost 500 bucks because of negative escrow and tax increase. This is NOT ok. If you care for the people, you will stop the building and save this what was a small town!

The School System cannot support the children now let alone the estimated influx from the town homes that are being built!
