Stop Raising Our Taxes and Building Homes In Monroe

I moved here from Monmouth County over 25 years ago. It was so lovely, so rural. It simply is not that way any longer. What was the point of a master plan that has been changed again and again. I cannot handle paying these taxes any longer. When my children started in our schools, there was an average of 16 children in each class...now, check out our overcrowding. This is a disgrace. Enough!

Dear Mayor & Council, You are responsible for the decisions that have led to our townships problems. Our schools are overcrowded because you have allowed zoning to favor the builders and not the current residents. We need you to temporarily halt all building so that our schools can catch up. We need you to work with our school district so,that they can effectively meet the needs of ALL children. We need you to fight with our school district so that our school is get our fair share of the funding pie. We need you to 'ask' the builders what are they willing to offer to help the township & the schools. Most of all, we need you to stand up and represent those of us who live here, who are struggling daily to stay.

Great Job John. 70% of the votes in a Monroe elections come from our seniors in the adult communities. 4-1 ratio are democrats who keep voting in the same party not realizing how bad of shape Monroe is in outside of the adult communities. We have 3 ward council seats up for grabs this November election. If you vote Republican we can change the politicians in this town and finally let the residents voice be heard. Let's get this petition inside the gates as well. They need to know the truth.

Born and raised in Monroe my entire life. We have enough people here already.. leave me some woods and land to look at while I drive through town instead of fences and condos.

Enough building already! You can not even find room to build additional schools. The classrooms are getting larger, which means more kids are not being reached! How is that an education?

Stop the property tax rise!

Taxs are out of control in Monroe Twp, even though all new construction home property taxs are significantly higher than older homes..where is all that money going?? My taxs have more than doubled and I no longer derive any benefit since my children are out of the school system..it is time to get ready to leave if something is not done soon to get our rising taxs under control

The taxes are driving me out of Monroe, Working on a exit plan. Everyday a another for sale sign is on a lawn in Monroe.

I can I believe the destruction that I have seen in my neighborhood since I've moved herearound 12 years ago! It is too much! If it continues to change at this rate and more houses continue to be built I will have to move!

The development on applegarth and RT 33 is an eyesore and should have never been approved.
