It pains me to request that my beautiful school, a place where everyone felt at home, safe and secure and free to speak out and be who they are without retribution has invited such a person to deliver the Commencement address.
Has the quality of leadership deminished so far that they cannot understand the difference between hate speech and free speech?
Has my alma mata fallen into such disarray that it can no longer understand that those who they honor and who are given the responsibility of addressing the graduates need to preach tolerance, not hatred.
This MUST be stopped. It seems that otherwise intelligent men and women throughout the country are turning otherwise great centers of learning into cradles of hatred and fear.

This is NOT an appropriate choice of speakers for a commencement address. Have her speak at a lecture during the year where attendance is optional, if you must, but this is not someone who should be speaking at a graduation.
