The last thing we need in this location is a gas station!! Cutting down live oaks is unacceptable both because of their aesthetic value, as well as their ability to hold the soil and protect against flooding and related erosion. Bright lights all night long across from and behind residential housing is both disruptive to the residents and detrimental to property values! NO NO NO!!!

I have only seen these huge stations on very large commercial highways i.e. 190 and we have 3 other gas stations within a mile.

We have enough of everything we need in this community. Including gas stations. Do we have to develop every square foot of green space? Put it to a vote and the answer would be overwhelmingly NO.

I also strongly oppose for many reasons: traffic on Hwy 22 is already a nightmare beyond belief, and has been for many years; there is a gas station just a couple hundred yards from the proposed location so saying we need a gas station there is not accurate; the destruction of such beautiful trees would reduce the beauty of Mandeville, many people reside in Mandeville for the beauty and peace of the Northshore, we do not want Mandeville to become another Metairie!
