Stop Puppy Mills in Arkansas

Puppy mills spread diseases to the general population thus putting the people, not just the pets, at risk.

Thanks for this bill.

Stop ALL cruelty to animals

Petty mills should be banned and owners should be punished.

This is "an idea whose time has come", for sure!!! Thank you -- Representative Jim Sorvillo.

Please stop puppy mills in Arkansas!!!

I've seen these dogs straight of these mills. They are grossly mistreated!!!! It's inhumane to allow this to go on. Please stop it now!!!!

These puppy mills have to stop!!!!!

I have volunteered for years with local rescue groups and puppy mills are horrid! If people only could see the horror and abuse behind the scenes, they would NEVER pay for another dog from a puppy mill !

There is an over population of dogs. Since Puppy mills are almost all hidden, consumers are many times unaware of the cruel conditions that mills operate. Please outlaw puppy mills, it is right thing to do.

Please help stop puppy mills. And help the public know who is a puppy mill and who are the hobbyists that are responsible breeders!!!

Please stop the puppy mills!

It's a shameful fact that the state of Arkansas allows this to continue.

Please stop puppy mills

I hope thousands sign this. Puppy mills and the people who run them are deplorable. It is horrible and cruel. We need much stronger laws to punish these people. Take all their property to start plus jail time. A national registry with their names so anyone can see before buying a dog. This has to stop.

No more puppy mills. We need to adopt and not shop for animals. So we don't have to kill animals in shelters.

Stop the puppy mills.

There is no need for puppy mills when there are more than enough dogs begging for a good home at overcrowded shelters.

Stop Puppy Mills NOW!!!!

It's about time something was done. As a State Auditor, I spent the last year of my career researching leads on puppy breeders for tax evasion. It is surprising how few of them are reporting sales tax to the state and puppy sale income on their Individual Income taxes. I was surprised how many backyard breeders are really puppy mills.
