Please stop the inhumane act of puppy mills. The crowded conditions, never seeing or touching grass, never knowing love or how it feels to be outside of a crate. Aren't there already so many stray dogs with no home, living on the street? We must stop this over population and cruel treatment. Arkansas is such an animal loving state and we are known for this. We must not support puppy mills.

All puppy mills need to be shut down. But we need to start in states like AR, where at least half the people do not believe in spaying or neutering their pets to begin with.

As puppy mills are closed down in other states, the operators flock here because we have no ban. It is outrageous that we allow this horrible treatment of animals.

Let's end the "designer dog" concept. I recently learned of a new breed called a "Pomsky" born of a Pomeranian mixed with A Husky-they sell for $2500!! How many rescue dogs could. be helped with $2500???

Puppy Mills need to be banned. They are cruel practices that just keep a vicious cycle of cruelty alive. Arkansas is a progressive state. We need to catch up with the rest of the country on our animal cruelty laws.

It sickens me .to know precious animals are put thru such misery for peoples monetary gain. I wish they could live a week or more in a cage and no interaction . And see how it feels.

It's terrible that so many dogs never have good loving homes. We need dogs and cats spayed and neutered so there aren't so many unwanted ones, and we need puppy mills shut down so the dogs that are already here have a chance at a life in a good loving home.
