we unknowingly got a dog from one. They do not treat dogs well plus lied to us about the age of puppy.

As a former animal rescuer, I support this bill to ban puppy mills in Arkansas. Our local shelter is constantly full of homeless dogs needing homes. The pet overpopulation problem will never stop as long as more and more dogs are born every year. Not to mention the horrible condition these dogs are kept in just to produce litter after litter of puppies with questionable lineage and health. Please stop puppy mills in Arkansas.

Really any sort of dog breeding saddens me. We have too many shelter animals and homeless pets to have breeding going on at all. People say they will breed only once but I find that, in many cases, this isn't true. They end of breeding over and over b/c they are making money. I'm sorry but it's a disgusting way to make money.

I'm so glad to see you are addressing this horrible business of torture! These puppy mill owners should be prosecuted for animal cruelty. I have a rescued "flaw dog", (puppies normally thrown away if not perfect at a puppy mill).

Please help protect animals in Arkansas. We have to control puppy Mills. Our state is behind on the welfare of animals in Breeding facilities. Our dog population is out of control.
Thank you!
