SORELY NEEDED -- IF ONLY PEOPLE WOULD REALIZE THE TERRIBLE CONDITIONS IN WHICH SOME OF THESE ANIMALS HAVE TO SURVIVE THEIR AWARENESS WOULD NOT LET THEM SLEEP

I recently moved to Arkansas from Iowa. I was always disappointed that Iowa didn't pass such legislation even though many dedicated people tried to convince the legislature to do so. Being an agricultural state, the argument was of the concern that it would apply to farm stock. I hope Arkansas will be a shining star in the fight against puppy mills and maybe other states will follow their example.

I do not believe animals should be raised for profit. There must be some legislation in place to stop the abuse and overbreeding of dogs and cats for sale in this state.

Puppy Mills generally are the worst environmental assassination of intelligent beings on this earth. Puppy Mills are not regulated to meet any specific standards other than getting a permit to have one inside city limits. The growers of puppies live outside the city limits and have no restrictions or inspections.
Please support this effort to license puppy mills and incorporate inspectors to uphold the legislation.

Puppy mills are so inhumane. So not fair to the dogs. Should have be shut down a long time ago. A lot of those dogs probably never get to set there feet on the ground or see daylight and have babies after babies. DISGUSTING !!!

Puppy mills disgust me. Keeping dogs in tiny cages, forcing them to breed over and over for profit is not humane.
