Stop Puppy Mills in Arkansas

There is no logical, humane reason to breed animals in the "puppy mill: manner.

I support your efforts to ban puppy mills. This is long overdue for Arkansas. Thank you!

Dogs are man's best friend. Are we worth it?

Consider this, all legislators: cruelty to any living being is wrong! Puppy mills are equivalent to the following scenario within your own familes: a) locking a wife in a 3x4-foot closet for her lifetime; b) touching her only when an intimate moment is desired for impregnation; c) starving her of proper nutrition and water,; d) never allowing a glimmer of sunlight within her closet ; e) ignoring the filth accumulation on the closet floor; f) withholding exercise; and g) ignoring her health and welfare, as well as that of offspring in all respects. NO STATE IN THIS NATION SHOULD PERMIT THE PUPPY MILL ABOMINATION TO PERSIST. DO THE RIGHT THING AND END THIS CRUELTY!

It's about time

I've seen two of these hell holes, one of which was AKC approved. Put the puppy mills out of business once and for all. It's not complicated--just pass a law and arrest the owners.

It is unconscionable to allow the abuse and exploitation of puppy mills to continue. If we are to call ourselves a compassionate, evolved society, these practices must be made ILLEGAL. "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Where there's animal abuse, there is also human.

Please stop the suffering....these puppy mill people do not care at all about life..only their profit...enough. Arkansas can do better...Please stop puppy Mills in our state.

We urgently need this to pass and protect dogs from this cruelty. This is so inhumane and can't be allowed to continue.

This is long overdue!!!! Please know that there are so many little dogs that have been used for puppy machines. I rescued my little pug who had been bred multiple times in a puppy mill. Please help these poor little defenseless ones by publicizing this bill and doing what it takes to become law. Thank you for your efforts.

Get rid of puppy mills!!

Thank you for taken action. I adopted a puppy mill baby in Texas. Every state needs to have some type of law to force these people to take care of these precious little ones. Shut down puppy mills and see to it that all those you have abuised their babies be prosecuted to the fullest of the law.

Nothing worse than puppy mills. Please stop the abuse and profit of innocent animals.

I assume that there will be a distinction between 'puppy mills' and legitimate and humane breeding operations.

Puppy mills are a disgrace! Shut them down. People have no right to profit off of these innocent dogs prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law!
