Stop Puppy Mill Abuse
A petition of P.A.W.s - an animal activist group from Cannon School
Addressed to Gov. Pat McCory and NC State Senate
We the undersigned would like to bring to your attention the problem of puppy mill abuse in our state.
We are petitioning to create monthly surprise inspections of all the puppy mills/dog breeding facilities in North Carolina. These inspections should be done by an A.S.P.C.A. member (if available), a veterinarian, and a police officer or an Animal Control Officer.
A puppy mill is a place that breeds puppies specifically for financial gain, that often does not care about the dogs' well being.
We are doing this because dogs in puppy mills/breeding facilities often face inhumane treatment and living conditions. With these surprise inspections, puppy mills/dog breeding facilities will be forced to improve the care of their dogs.
We are not asking for any donations, we only ask that you show your support by adding your name.
