Do not agree with the maintenance facility at the intended location

This type of facility should not located in such a location as it suggests a much less attractive impression of our community. This is particularly so when other nearby areas appear less damaged by its placement. I don't question its need, but please investigate other areas first. Thank you

Why put it in such a visible area?

The county land off of Knight's Trail is a more suitable location for this facility. We need a more appealing visual gateway to our town of Nokomis.

Knights road would be a better location for the Maintainance Facility

Completely inappropriate use of land. When SMH builds in that area, Traffic will be significantly increased. Put this facility on Knights Trail. Why turn Laurel Road into another University Parkway fiasco?

We have lived on Laurel Road for 28 years. The Interstate increased our traffic flow, and this project would further increase the traffic and be a "eyesore" for the area. Knights Trail property is more suited for said project.

Industrial sites such as a maintenance facility do not belong in such a public location. The county has lots of 'behind' the scenes lots where this would be more appropriate.

I do not feel this is appropriate use for this land. This is a major entrance into Nokomis and many communities and would not create a good first impression off this exit. This is prime land and deserves a better occupant.

Please consider choosing a different sight .

Please consider Knights Trail property instead.

I think an alternate sight would be better for our community. This highly visible corner should have community friendly businesses.

I support NACA recommendations on this proposed land use. Put the County maintenance facility on a less visible space off of Knights Trail.

This location is the gateway and a first impression of beautiful, up and coming "Nokomis". While we very much welcome a stronger presence of our law enforcement officers, I truly do not feel this location is appropriate or in the best interest of this growing area. I understand there are other very viable options in close proximity that would serve the need and be much more appropriate for this facility. For anyone that does not understand what the proposed facility would look like, please go look at the current facility located next to Pine View School.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention as we missed the workshop and the county plans. OUE-1 to government on a split parcel and desiring to add potential eyesores are unacceptable to our beautiful Laurel road. Let's make sure it walled and tall buffering landscaping. Hopefully, ingress/egress are scrutinized for safety and traffic flow. And a promise for no speed traps in this location- indefinitely.

PLEASE do not put this type of facility in this location. The knight's Trail location is so much more appropriate. Let a location like this be more useful to the public and kept pristine...it just makes more sense guys...

Perhaps a compromise would be to build a wall or a natural fence from plants so that the area would look more attractive and be fitting with other property in the area.

Since SMH is building a hospital across street a medical support building would a good fit.

Keep it hidden. We don't want to see a junk yard.

That could be a nice area for a "first impression" as people entering the Venice, Nokomis area. Please use your heads.
