We should aspire to better. If anything, the space deserves an icon that truly represents the town. Anything but another low grade building as everyone drives past. The gateway to Holywood should attract, not detract.

Habinteg are happy to portray themselves as a socially conscious organisation. I believe that that they are more interested in raising their profile as a business, than answering to their civic responsibility. They are becoming too big, and should be monitored. This organisation is losing grasp of their own ethics.

A building of no merit whatsoever designed to comply with the rules (just) with no thought given to it's location or the effect on it's neighbours. Habinteg (and their architect) should be ashamed.

It's nothing to do with "Toffs". It's about architectural merit on a sensitive site. There have been some abominable choices in Holywood - public, private and charity. It's time someone said 'stop'. This area, in particular, is being overloaded with cheaply designed and constructed buildings which, once in place, will blight the place forever. I agree - housing is much-needed. It was much needed too when they threw up cheap terraces in Belfast in the 19th Century and concrete housing estates in the 1960s. We're still looking at them and fixing the harm done by their sub-standard design and construction. We need to aspire to better. This isn't it.

This is not the right location for such a development. Holywood has a distinct look and feel and this will remove that, adding a concrete theme instead, which may well be best suited to others parts of the province. It will block stunning views and ruin such a beautiful town.

Holywood is a vibrant town that beautifully marries the lifestyles of many; from families to young professionals. It's a town that prides itself on being 'The best kept town' for the past couple of years. Not only will this building diminish this picturesque setting but will also create an uninviting image of the town! I can see no benefit to this building.

What a stupid place for more housing, traffic is already horrendous in Holywood.

Unattractive and will only add to the already bad congestion at Croft Road, Bangor Road and the dual carriageway traffic lights. Outrageous proposal.
