Sharon May from Toronto, cat losing fur, no energy, either lapping up water from dehydrating Temptation treat or not peeing later. Acting disoriented. Stopped giving this treat and 2 weeks later, cat seems better already. Don’t give your cat this. Even in our human food, companies are tweaking ingredients or quantities to give us less food or less healthy food, so no wonder they are selling this stuff, they do not care. Stuff with the word byproduct or formula are dead giveaways. I am joining my comments with all those out there, your cat could crash rapidly. I have not been influenced or biased from internet comments I have read, simply due to the fact I discontinued this nasty product after witnessing these symptoms and the eliminating the product. Next, I became curious if others out there were noticing anything wrong as well. I feel they changed even the smell of this, it used not to smell so much like corn. Even my cat backed away from it at times. The danger is renal organ failure or chronic renal disease, even chronic allergies. Thanks all you guys, you are part of the give a damn club. Smiles and good wishes.

Lee Paisiovich here I am not sure if my comments under petition were cut off, hope not. There is so much that is bad about this product, including fur loss, jitteriness in the nervous system, breathing changes too. My best friend long back asked me what on earth do they put in that stuff that makes cats addicted. At the time, I assumed the product was safe, about as safe as slipping someone bits of lead, morphine or arsenic. The effects will build up. This company it is sold under became too big. They only tell part of the story, made here in Canada yet ingredients sourced from Asia. Big deal, Well I don’t want even organic strawberries if they are tainted. It is typical of them to act innocent, as though when you contact them, you are only among a few if any to have complained. Or they blame the retail store you got them from, all the way down to it must be a bad batch. I guess their last tactic is to wait til the dust settles, then resurface this garbage ingredient(s) calling it by another name (toxic treats? No, that would be too honest. This company disgusts me, as far as I know they have not pulled it off shelves. By the way my cat immediately vomited eating those foil sealed individually divided whiskas pate. I then smelled the product, it smelled gross, certainly not like chicken. Pardon the expression, but this company is like a giant prostitute that does anything for profit. They take advantage of our love for our animals and they abuse our trust with misleading and incomplete information, Anyone with morality would be sickened at this lack of regard. I am not buying their lousy other products either. Let’s spread the word.

Have 5 yr. age loved cat, vet declared healthy whom I gave Temptations to as nightly treatment and sometimes mornings. It took last 3 years for strange symptoms to show, so folks who find nothing wrong with this product may be playing Russian roulette. My cat was crazed for this and only this. Despite admittedly giving more Temptations than when I first ever bought it, and even as I did not give in and feed it as a meal or anything, my cat went crazy for it. Indoor cat not consuming any harmful outdoor things. Here are the effects I am totally positive developed because of this product. Very noticeable lethargy as if dazed, changes in the eyes as though slightly unfocused, sporadic vomiting despite following not having binged or eaten quickly. Also immediate thirst, weight gain, fur falling out significantly (yet I use very little indoor heating, have no carpets, perfume or scented products, no smoking). Last but worst of all, visiting the litter box only to step out unused. This happened too much in the space of 24 hours, which is a red flag to cat owners that their pet may be getting or already has kidney trouble and can crash suddenly. I also think this product has some addictive thing in it that cats react to not as Favorite treat but as a drug. I am comparing it to my sporadic craving for potato chips, give me one and there goes the bag. However if I took a drug both my craving and damage to my health would be in a whole different category than that of consuming a junk food. Of course junk food too could set me up for problems.

I just had my 2 year old cat die in my arms after feeding him Temptations Catnip treats. He wasnt showing any signs of being sick in the morning but within a few hours started panting and making whinning noises. He was gone within half an hour. The only explanation I can come up with is the treats after reading all these comments.
