I don't know if this applies to state prisons, but California state prisons are not adequately feeding or treating their prisoners medically; however they pay for sex reassignment. Why are MY tax dollars paying for this?

Plesase help address my issues as well as so many My SON is in Rogers State Prison in Reidsville GA, HE HAS LOST 90 # SINCE SEPTEMPBER THE MEDICAL STAFF SAYS THAT IS NORMAL IF THIS HAPPENED BEYOND PRISON WALLSAPS DFAS WOULD BE NOTIFIED AND CHARGES WOULD BE BROUGHT, HE GETS 2 MEALS A DAY ( A PNB SANDWICH) ON FSS ETC I HAVE DISCUSSED THIS WITH THE WARDEN WARDEN OF CARE AND TX THE GOVERNORS OFFICE THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE

My grandson has had mental and physical abuse in prison. they are not treated as humans.abuse by other inmates and staff

I worked as a counselor in the Florida DOC for almost 18 years and saw abuse pf inmates swept under the rug many times. Officers were allowed to"retire" or worse yet, promoted and transferred to other institutions, rather than charged with the crimes they committed. This has to stop.....an stop now.

Medical negligence has got to stop inmates medical needs are not being met at all I'm living Proof it took me 14 months to get a biopsy by then it was too late to cancel it already spread my lip notes and I had to have a double Mesec to me which turned out to be a mutilation

Please stop inmate abuse in Ohio, I know someone that is a Ohio inmate that just got beat up by a couple co's. And He got a cathader to use over and over with no cleaning supplies, He is so sick now cause of the cathader he has to have surgery soon. Please Help need a layor as soon as possible, Filed lay suits and needs help defending himself, They tooken all his paper work away from him, so he can't even defend him self. Please Contact me if you are interested in both cases PLEASE HELP ! God Bless the one who does.

investigations need to be done in Texas prisons. Inmates have been sentenced and sent to prison, but every day they are in prison they are judged by prison guards and mistreated over and over.

My husband is incarcerated in an NC prison. The closer it gets to the time of his release the more abuse he gets. He is havingfainting spells from being short of breath but he isn't allowed to stay in a cooler room but for a couple of hours. He keeps getting harassed about things he has done with no problem before. The time they can take shower has been changed to just inthe evening. The water temperature is very hot. Oh, I could go on. I have always wondered where punishment ends and cruelty begins in the NCDOC!

I've signed this inspired by Pope Francis example that we not abandon people in prison and their families. I'm going to try and find other ways to help.
