The Lake Conroe Village subdivision has grown since I moved in over 3 years ago and continues to grow. The outgoing traffic with left-hand turns out of Lake Conroe Village increases during the school year with many young (new) drivers heading to school. The current plans to eliminate left-hand turns out of Lake Conroe Village poses additional hazards and increases the risk of accidents. The only solution to a TRAFFIC SIGNAL at the intersection of Lake Conroe Village & Hwy 105.

Not a good idea.

A light would be much more logical. We are a high volume neighborhood and a median will just create unnecessary traffic jams in the Eastbound lane. It would benefit Lake Conroe Forest as well.

We need a light not a restriction for our neighborhood.

There needs to be a light, forcing the U turn is ridiculous

Having a raised median will only cause more problems than good. We need an actual traffic light, too many accidents happen at the front of our subdivision.

We need a light!! Going right then having to U-turn is just as dangerous! It's not rocket science guys come on! Lives have been lost and more will come. Why does every neighborhood on 105 have lights but us???

Please! It is really scary to turn left with all the coming traffic on both sides. Nerve racking when people are in the mid lane and behind you feeling rushed or unsecured when to go. A light traffic would definitely help alot with all this problems. Specially to keep everyone safe.

How many fatality accidents have to occur before TXDOT corrects the problem? A traffic light is needed for the safety, not just of the residents of Lake Conroe Village, but for all the traffic that passes by.

This is a terrible idea. Everything we use (stores, school, etc) requires a left hand turn. This will create more of a safety issue with people making u-turns on 105.

Signing this petition to stop the no left turn out of my subdivision. It’s dangerous enough as it is, making that a law will put our school buses with our children in danger

Making it to where we can't turn left is stupid

I live in Lake Conroe Village and I am deeply concerned about the entrance to my neighborhood. I have had multiple close encounter from people speeding eastbound hwy 105 while trying to enter into my neighborhood. Also, I have a new driver in my household, my stepdaughter. She is 17 and recently obtained her driver's license. I am very concerned for her safety as well as for the rest of my family. We need a traffic signal desperately!

The raise median wouldn’t do anything but cause more traffic at the light at April sound which there are already too many accidents and deaths there.
