I am very environmentally conscious and since recently adopting an adorable 12-year-old cat, I have realised how much of a huge impact the plastic within pet food pouches must have on the environment. Personally I buy tins of cat food but discover that they are extremely difficult to find, more expensive and don’t cater to elderly cats.
On average, each Brit spends £1,150 a year on their pets, most of which will be in food. The pet food market is huge.
Sign my petition to bring an end to plastic pet food pouches and the damage they cause.

Well done. Currently you can wash them out and take them to Tesco but it would be much better and easier to make them environmentally friendly x

The amount of plastic waste from my dogs food is ridiculous. I hate chucking those empty pouches in the bin everyday but there is never any other option in the shops. Needs changing asap
