The countryside is disappearing so quickly. The over population of small towns and villages is destroying hundreds of years growth of communities. The infrastructure is never upgraded, roads, water, sewage are overwhelmed by massive and sudden influx. Schools, GP surgeries, dentists and social services are the same.

Our villages are being lost. The market town of hailsham has been destroyed. 8 farms within hailsham gone to development. There fore our environment also destroyed. Approximately a 1000 acres. Which also brings into question our food security.

No infrastructure. Density of population is high enough. Lack of facilities. Enough is enough

How many more houses do we have to accommodate. We are so crowded in this neck of the woods. It must stop

Too much unwanted development going on and the only winners are the developers.
They continue to build these awful looking houses but don’t think about the school situation. The doctors, traffic issues.
Most importantly the mental health of the current residents that have to put up with all this disruption.
When are councils going to accept enough is enough.

We have far too many houses approved already, without provision for schools, GP surgeries, dentists, power, or sewage. These houses are, in the main, not for locals or youngsters, who can't afford them. They are for councils in London to buy, in order to lower their housing waiting lists, at our expense, or for those who can afford the proce, which is out of reach for locals who do need housing.

I am aghast at the number of large planning applications in progress with apparently no consideration of the impact on water supply, management of sewerage to protect our rivers, doctors and dentists, A&E availability, road quality and congestion, impact on ancient woodlands, impact on mental health and so on. There is already planning in place for many homes not yet built. To approve huge swathes of development when we’ve not yet seen the impact of existing approvals, is unconscionable. It needs to stop until the existing approvals are built and our infrastructure can be seen to be coping.
