I have lived in High Barney for 30years. When I moved here the High Street was a pleasure to walk through. It was fairly quiet but now it is very run down and depressing. The Spires is becoming a "white elephant" we need easy parking, we need shops and if we cannot have shops due to the changing pattern of buying online we need to create alternatives. the opening of Debenhams in Boreham Wood is another nail in the coffin for Barnet High Street.

we need to get free parking in order to stop the decline of our high street!
