Orcas are intelligent creatures who would typically roam for many miles a day. It is unbelievably cruel to confine them to a mostly featureless area smaller than the average supermarket car park. End orca captivity!

Animal captivity is cruel, but oceanic animal captivity is the most extreme crime of them all. My friends are Lummi, the tribe legally fighting to end captivity for Lolita/Sk'aliCH'elh-tenaut from Florida captivity. Ngā mihi from Aotearoa/NZ

Empty the tanks! It’s so cruel to keep these fantastic animals in tiny tanks, let them swim free

Orcas are social animals that travel up to 100 miles a day and live to be over 100 years old in the wild.
In captivity they are sometimes kept in isolation for the majority of their lives in a concrete tank and are lucky to live more than ten years.
The only reason we keep them in captivity is for profit as any research Seaworld claim they do would be better conducted in a wild setting where they can express their natural behaviours.
