My main concern would be that it would force homeowners (who may own more than 1 car) to park cars on the streets, which would become unsightly and unsafe.

I cannot understand the reasoning behind this proposal. Regardless the size of the house, most families are at least a 2 car family. Required for transportation to travel to work.

It could help lower Fayetteville property values as families will chose surrounding towns to call home that don’t mandate driveway size etc.

This is an absolutely meaningless ordinance that clearly the people trying to get it passed do not have an understanding of REALITY.. sounds just like so many other things the government is trying to pass that only effect peaceful, law abiding citizens ... government oversight is NEVER the solution.. and only leads to problems. Just LOOK at where we are right now in society.

We as home owner should have the right to say how big our driveway is ! We are the ones paying for it anyway along with property taxes!
