Hello my name is Jorge i'm a 6 grade student and i'm from Nicaragua.Did you know that oil drilling in Alaska causes a lot of pollution like noise pollution that scares animals away from their habitat it scares theme so much that they could never return. It disrupts a pattern in breeding and nesting seasons and changes the way predator and prey works. This petition is asking for companies to stop drilling in Alaska because it's affecting all of the habitats surrounding the oil hole. In 2008 ExxonMobil used researchers sent seismic waves into the ground near madagascar to see it there was any oil. The noise disorientates whales causing 100 of them beach themselves. Where they lay pipelines in the forest it destroy the path the animals use to migrate. ANWAR shouldn't be drilled because it can cause many extinctions in Alaska. It can cause many many animals to die. I also think it's bad because ANWAR should be kept as a reserve and untouched. It's a beautiful place and animals live there. If they do more drilling in that place I think we can drive many animals to extinction. Please I ask you to think about my reasons and sign this petition to save the animals in alaska.
