The following petition, in hard copy form, will be sent with all the signatures, to Governor NIkki Haley, in an effort to stop Obamacare in South Carolina.

Dear Governor Haley, We the undersigned humbly request that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act not be implemented in the State of South Carolina. In the recent Supreme Court case, National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius, which decided the Constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, Chief Justice Roberts, concluded that States cannot be threatened with the loss of existing funding, for declining to implement the healthcare plan. Therefore, the State of South Carolina could not be penalized for declining to implement the Affordable Care Act. We humbly request that you take this action. We feel that the implementation of this act would be detrimental to our State. Sincerely Yours, Concerned Citizens of South Carolina

I have been hearing from so many of you who worry about how this law will impact our families and local businesses across the state. The silence from the governor's office is frustrating but I am working to ensure our concerns are placed directly onto her desk.

Seeing this level of support confirms that so many of you feel the same deep concern for the future of our state healthcare. The momentum we have built proves that Governor Haley needs to listen to our call to protect South Carolina from this mandate.

This law is ridiculous. We all got snowed in this decision. It doesn't seem like anything is getting any better but worse. I am a hard working person with a disabled husband that can't work and can't seem to get Social Security Disability because the people making the decision on his case can't seem to get the right information. Secondly I work a job that won't hire me full-time because of Obama Care. I can't seem to win.
