Hard-working New Yorkers should not be forced to foot the bill for Gov. Cuomo's temper tantrum regarding the new federal tax plan. If he wants to sue, he should use his own personal money, NOT ours! If Gov. Cuomo wants to help New York State, he should implement steps to reduce our taxes by cutting out wasteful, unnecessary spending.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- New York state will sue the federal government over the newly enacted GOP tax plan, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said on Wednesday in his annual State of the State address.

Cuomo, a Democrat, said during his speech that he believes the tax plan is unconstitutional and overly burdensome to New Yorkers. He said that the new law could raise some families' taxes by as much as 25 percent and said the plan amounted to "double taxation."
