I was formerly a 2 pack per day smoker. Having tried numerous smoking cessation methods, both cold turkey and pharmaceutical I was unsuccessful in my numerous attempts. I was introduced to vaping in early 2014. On February 14th I bought my first starter kit. After an equipment upgrade in March 2014, I was finally able to put down the cigarettes and have been smoke free for almost a year (the longest I have ever been smoke free since I tried to quit). I enjoy custard, fruit and candy flavors of e-liquid. Since I have been using these flavors, I have no desire to pick up a cigarette and quite frankly, the tobacco odor makes me sick. I also enjoy the variety. Had I only been allowed to use tobacco flavored e-liquid, it is likely I wouldn't be almost a year smoke free. Decisions on where someone can or can not use these products should be a choice that is reserved by the venue owner/manager, not legislated from Albany.
