STOP the use of Glyphosate in Nova Scotia!

Unnecessary alteration of our natural forest ecosystem throws off a delicate balance that is important for the health of all of the living things within it.

Stop polluting the environment with chemicals of which we do not know the long-term effects.

Why? How is this going to help preserve our environment? We need to stop with the chemicals, as its killin any and everything including us humans!

Why would anyone spray a known carcinogen all over the land? Don't do it!

Please think beyond PROFITS.

Northern Pulp has demonstrated high disregard for environment concerns with its conscious destruction to soil and waterways adjacent to its plant ... as well as the stench emitted from its pulp operation in Abercrombie. Now it seeks to apply Glyphosate, a probable cancer -causing agent to large tracts of northern Nova Scotia forests. I say go ahead and spray, as long as General Manager Bruce Chapman is on the ground, without a mask, when the application of this dangerous chemical is applied, should it be permitted to occur. I invite former premier Dr. John Hamm, who sits on the board of directors, to join Mr. Chapman.

This cannot happen

Stop the spraying.

Spraying trees with pesticides in order to kill them and grind them into sludge is a low value use of precious resources.

I live in Pictou County. I do not want glyphopsate sprayed in any of our province. We need to be considering how we can improve our environment. Adding such chemical poisons as Vision/ glyphopsate is NOT the way to accomplish this. We need to look after all the many important organisms, insects, birds, animals and people from such harmful poisons, please support this petition

Stop this!!! You already have western trained doctors killing people! Enough is enough! Go back to the 1800s.

Science has proven this is toxic for our citizens. Long past the time for our government to step up and stop the his immediately!

How many times will we need to prevent industrial lies from prevailing

I am a landowner of 100 acres on CB. I do not want my land contaminated with these carcinogens.

When our Prime Minister comes on Tues. we should bring this to his attention, considering that he and his enviornment minister a are so concerned about our enviroment.Northern Pulp and all the companies that have come before them have ruined our beautiful county. We live in a very sick community, more cancer than any other place in Canada. Time to call an end to the control this company has over the decisions the government makes for its citizens of Pictou County. We deserve better.

I am so disappointed in the governments of Nova Scotia. I grew up here, went away to work but bought land in Pictiou County and spend my summers here. I intended to retire here but am afraid of the air quality. Had the chance to buy the property next store and extend my property but afraid to invest more money into such a dismal economy and the consistently worst ranked place in Cabada to live. Please fix the envirement.... The economy will then fix itself!!!

This product should be outlawed and its use should be a criminal offence.

For what are they doing this. Spraying poison to prevent what? Northern Pulp should be sanctioned for even considering this. Good folks I think we need a huge protest with lots of Media right where they are!

Why would anyone even want to use such a thing that causes such horrors. Whoever plans to use this or anything like it should be charged for attempted murder, intent to harm, destroying the environment... And so much more. WHY is this even allowed to be produced???
