No spray- no way!! The McNeil govt needs to say no to Northern Pulp's request to spray our forests with any product containing glyphosate. As their federal leader said "Because its 2016." Get with the picture!

We need to start banning things outright, like France did with pesticides:)

I have been attempting to bring my forest land to a fully natural state. I have planted many species that have in the past been decimated by spraying. Spraying these chemicals turn our forest from high value plants, woods and resources to nothing but toilet paper trees to clear cut. Why let China downgrade our environment, economy and mortality?

We don't any thing more to add to the cancer risks here. I personally know way too many people with cancer. Please do not contaminate and spray our precious land and air.

Praying that this petition will do something to stop the spraying of this poison, enough is enough.

I have an organic farm and keep bees in rural Nova Scotia. This proposed spraying would be a direct infringement of my rights to produce clean wholesome food for myself and others and provide a healthy environment for my bees.

We have deteriorated our forests greatly already and with the impending threat of spruce budworm in Nova Scotia does northern pulp and the government really think it's best to destroy the healthy hardwood trees and leave stands of spruce?

It's so wrong to be spraying this, also declared to be a carcinogenic substance. It's a herbicide, which means it is being used to kill off species they don't want, I believe. So the species of tree they do want will have all the light, nutrients etc and will grow faster, thus will be harvestable faster, thus more money, faster. Well, is that the only thing to consider? I believe not. I think health, including health of forests--which surely consist of more than one species of plant or tree. There is a reason a bunch of things all grow together, and messing with that is just dumb. There will always be negative consequences down the road to this kind of thing, but sadly those who are making these decisions only are able to think short-term. HOWEVER, the people are saying we don't want this any more. We live here too, and a company should not have the right to decide for the population what we are subjected to or not.
