Glyphosate is poison and harmful to the health of all living beings. I am in shock that this is even being considered with all the talk of caring for the environment, sustainability and how much the government is worried about the health of our province. Give me a break. Why shouldn't people smoke and eat crappy food when they are being poisoned anyway!!!!

Nova Scotia already has high cancer rates due to naturally occuring geology and other factors. It is stupid to spray a carcinogen in an area that has already been shown to be more caricinogenic on average than the rest of the country... Why can't we make smart science based decisions that benefit us in the long run?

Stop. This company has already polluted the area too much. They keep promising to clean up and failing to do so. This is wrong.

Will lakes and rivers be sprayed too ? Will all the wild animals and birds be removed from the area before the spraying ? If not, don't do it.

It’s going to affect animals, bees and pollinators. As glyphosate is applied to our forests, it will get into the soil. How can it not enter our water supply and in turn, we as humans will drink it?

The fact that government allows this to happen is terrifying! They say they regulate pollution and harmful chemicals but this goes to show money is truly the root of all evil!

This chemical is now linked to cancer, poisons wildlife & gets soaked up by wild foods like berries -and is unnecessary if we are shifting to sustainable agriculture. Stop the spray, Keep the promise made to Nova Scotians.
