Privatize the gains, and socialize the losses - no thanks. This is wrong in so many ways. The environment needs biodiversity. Allowing this spraying is a crime against humanity and all the species in this ecosystem. Everyone who works at this company (and companies like it) should be ashamed. One world or none.

Pulp trees like spruce grow pretty darn well in Nova Scotia - surely this is one "crop" we don't need to apply pesticides to?!

We fought this battle years ago and are now forced to do it again. This is just another example of Government disregarding the wishes of the people and deliberately ignoring history.

The Minister of Environment has disregarded the voice of the people and has approved the applications of Northern Pulp and five other companies to spray more than 2,600 hectares of woodland with VisionMax, a herbicide containing the active ingredient glyphosate.
