Perhaps the 289 million dollar case Monsanto just lost should be a bit of a wake up call? Just a thought. Maybe, I don't know, ban the carcinogenic death spray immediately!

The people are loosing what little faith they had in our government because of things like this. Glyphosate is a poison and a toxin and it harms and can even kill birds, bees, trees, humans and everything else it comes into contact with, so why are we allowing this to happen in Canada?

Glyphosphate spraying is a cost reducing practice and is not necessary for forest management. Risks to humans, animals etc is yet to be fully determined. Canada should folliw suit with other countries and ban its use until its safety can be assured.

STOP THE SPRAYING OF GLYPHOSATE IN NOVA SCOTIA
Nova Scotia has one of the highest Cancer rates per capital in Canada. DO NOT allow Northern Pulp and others to spray glyphosate ANYWHERE in NOVA SCOTIA. The World Health Organization’s cancer agency released a report in March 2015 that declared glyphosate a 'probable human carcinogen'. WHY TAKE THE CHANCE!
Acute symptoms of glyphosate exposure include destruction of red blood cells, lung dysfunction, low blood pressure, kidney damage, erosion of gastrointestinal tract, dizziness, fever and nausea.
It’s going to affect animals, bees and pollinators. As glyphosate is applied to our forests, it will get into the soil and enter the water supply.
In addition, it is sheer madness to kill hardwoods. Hardwoods have a MUCH BETTER CHANCE of surviving global warming than do softwoods.
In short, this is nothing more than a short-term cash grab by the pulp and paper companies, who have PAID OFF THE CORRUPT GOVERNMENT in order to perpetrate this criminal action against the people of Nova Scotia.
