Good God, how can this spraying even be a consideration in day and age. No reason to worry about global warming when poison is being sprayed in our environment and washing into our wildlife habitat and waters.

There are so many reasons NOT to allow the use of glyphosate and NO good reasons to allow it. The harm to present and future generations is staring us in the face and yet our government allows it. They don't represent our interests, only that of business. Time for a change, but first stop this spraying!

It is unacceptable that with all of the awareness on how chemicals play a role in health issues that our government is allowing this to happen. The most disappointing realization is that the reason is for nothing more than just to control a type of wood that isn't desired for commercial production. There are many people who who pick berries, and/or hunt in these areas so my assumption is that if someone happens to enter in an area where there is no sign, and was not aware of the chemical that has been sprayed, then the government is going to accept full responsibility and liability for any and all health issues that the person suffers as a result. And that includes financially. Farmers are not allowed to spray a pesticide on their crops because of the impact to the consumer, this is the biggest double standard I have ever heard of. We are not living in an era of 'do as I say not as I do'. I expect those we chose to put in power to make decisions to lead by example and set the standard at the highest level possible. If this species of wood is such a problem then hire people to get out there and clear it out. I find it hard to believe that there is nothing that this wood can be used for so should just be killed out, does it not burn? Could it not be made available for those who heat their homes using wood?

Let us not make the mistakes that South Carolina just did by spraying for one problem and creating another even larger problem by killing the bees which is how the majority of our food is created by!
