Even the elders of First Nations call this unethical - Just because the technology exists and a judge who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground said it was legal doesn't make it right. We have to think about the future of the species for all hunters. This is poaching plain and simple.

Night hunting? I think you mean poaching, there's no such thing as hunting at night. There's a reason they move at night, it's because they need a safe point at one time in the day

Night hunting is unfair and unethical to the animal. Fair chase should be practiced and applied by ALL hunters of this country. There is no pride or glory in harvesting an animal with pit-lamping methods. Poachers in Africa use pit-lamping to illegally harvest elephants and rhinos, to the point of endangered status or near extinction. We're better than that.

Should state who is currently allowed to hunt at night. The way it is written it makes people believe that most all hunters are allowed and that is misinformation. A agree with the petition in its intent but believe that clarification should be present as to not darken the reputation of those who follow the regulation and do not hunt at night. My issue is with the broad brush used not the overall picture. I will sign after it is reworded. And I would advise trying to use the federal petition website as this has no weight in the political process.
