We do not agree with the steps management are taking to try and save money. The proposed cuts will drastically affect the services we are already struggling to maintain. Further cuts will result in clinicians having less time to see patients. Clinicians working as admin staff is not an effective use of NHS money.
I have spent my shifts this week listening to colleagues who are terrified about how these changes will impact their workload and patient safety. Your signatures are proving that we are not alone in this fight to protect the staff who keep this hospital running. I am currently compiling your personal experiences to present directly to the board because they need to understand the human cost of these decisions.

Seeing this grow makes me feel less alone in the fight to protect the staff who keep our wards running. My own colleagues are exhausted and these signatures prove that people understand exactly why we cannot afford to lose our admin support.

My husband is a doctor and he spends way too much time doing paperwork already. This is just backwards and will hurt the patients who actually need help.

Ridiculous idea. Admin keeps the lights on. Stop trying to run a hospital like a warehouse.
