ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The phosphate companies have already made tons of money from mining in Florida. This process has destroyed forever a HUGE part of central Florida. Enough is enough. Please support denial of any and all future phosphate mining permits.

Phosphate waste has threatened the quality of our water supply and destroyed acres of land. Please deny new permits for phosphate mining and preserve Florida's fragile ecosystem

Do not allow a new permit to expand, they are contaminating our future water suppy and stripping our land. Nothing good for us can come from this, say NO!

Please end new phosphate mining in Florida. As current permits end, prevent renewal. With Florida being over populated, phosphate mining endangers the stability of our soil, threatens the purity of our drinking water, and destroys native plant and animal species dependant on Florida's ecosystem being stable and natural.

Let's be smart and opt to support safe, long-term agricultural and ranch jobs that do not jeopardize our lives and our ecosystems. I choose LIFE.

The phosphate mining and fertilizer production industry got their hooks into Florida over 100 years ago when there was no institutionalized environmental protection. When regulation came in 1975 the industry was there at the table to see that the environmental laws that were written would always favor their interests. These laws are still in place today which helps explain why this industry has not evolved, and the gradual accumulation of phosogypsum continues unabated. The supply of ore that creates this waste needs to be stemmed. Down with the Florida phosphate strip mining industry!

This is terrible. Our water supply is already jeopardized. We will tell all our friends to join this effort to stop mining.

When a landowners use of their land impacts greatly the quality of life of not only their neighbors but the residents of the state through impacts on health, water quality, and air quality, and the future of generations in Florida they should not be permitted. Phosphate mining negatively impacts endangered and threatened species in Florida and should not be permitted. Phosphate mining is the worst environmental threat our state has faced. It should not be permitted.
