I have compiled the recurring functional complaints from the comments and am formatting them into a formal letter for the product management team. Our next step is to initiate contact with the tech journalists covering these UI shifts to ensure they see the breadth of this feedback.

The volume of support has reached a level where the development team can no longer ignore this feedback. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the product managers at Google to request a meeting regarding these UI concerns.

the new compose is just awful. i find it so hard to see everything i need on one screen now.
it is so clunky and small i hate it. why fix what wasn't broken??
This UI makes me want to switch to Outlook. It is incredibly frustrating to work with.
Please bring back the old compose window. This new one is impossible to use when you have long email chains.
HATE IT. I cant even format my text properly anymore. Gmail used to be professional but this looks like a toy.

Total garbage. Why take away features that people actually use just to make it look trendy?
